NSW Supreme Court Lawyer Peter Kemp talks Wikileaks and Julian Assange

On the May 20, 2011, Sam Castro & Kaz Cochrane from WACA sat down with NSW supreme court solicitor and outspoken Wikileaks advocate, Peter Kemp.

Peter discusses what motivated him to enter the public discourse on Wikileaks and the attacks on Julian Assange.

He outlines the current extradition process and moves on to discuss the broader issues of the Australian Governments appalling position in relation to Julian Assange, lack of independent foreign policy, human rights, free speech, American exceptionalism and the possibilities of Julian Assange being extradited to face charges in America.

WACA would like to thank Peter Kemp for sharing his time and views but most of all, for continuing to be a shining light in the Australian public discourse in relation to Julian Assange and Wikileaks.
