Can I burn paper in a garden incinerator?<\/div>\n

Basically, just like you would when making a bonfire. If filled correctly with <\/div>\n
dry material, the incinerator will only take a few moments to light. <\/div>\n
I use long matches that can be poked through the holes in the side of the incinerator to light the paper.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Why incineration is bad?<\/div>\n
Incinerators generate harmful pollution posing a risk to human health in <\/div>\n

Corrosion resistance and weather proofing\t<\/span>The Incinerator units shall be <\/div>\n
designed to last in operation in a tropical environment for a minimum <\/div>\n
period of 10 years if the specified maintenance schedule is followed. <\/div>\n
All metal surfaces (except combustion chamber internal fittings) shall be <\/div>\n
either galvanized, enameled, painted or otherwise treated against <\/div>\n
atmospheric and process induced corrosion\t<\/span><\/div>\n
\t<\/span>The incinerator combustion chamber(s) should be designed for <\/div>\n
easy maintenance of all internal parts including the refractory and insulation. <\/div>\n
Materials used in the individual parts of the incinerator shall be heat resistance <\/div>\n
and also be protected against oxidation, corrosion, etc.\t<\/span><\/div>\n
\n
All electrical connections attached with the incinerator and other machinery <\/div>\n
should be provided with suitable and necessary safety devices and be protected <\/div>\n
by steel conduits, cable trays, and supports.\t<\/span><\/div>\n
\t<\/span>The manufacturer should permanently mark on the incinerator indicating: <\/div>\n
(i) manufacturer\u2019s name or trademark (ii) style, type, model or, date of <\/div>\n
manufacture of the incinerator (iii) capacity in terms of net designed heat <\/div>\n
release in heat units per timed period (i.e., British Thermal Units per hour, <\/div>\n
mega joules per hour, kilocalories per hour).\t<\/span><\/div>\n

\u2022 A first aid kit, suitable for addressing the hazards presented by the unit.<\/div>\n

\t<\/span>The incinerator shell shall be made of mild steel with an adequate<\/div>\n
 thickness for small units of between 3-6mm and larger units 5-10 mm <\/div>\n
depending on the construction part and painted externally with heat resistant <\/div>\n
aluminum paint suitable to withstand 250\u00b0 C.  The outside surface temperature<\/div>\n
 of the incinerator casing should not exceed 50\u00b0 C above ambient temperature <\/div>\n
and shall include a safety mesh around all hot surfaces. Cold face refractory <\/div>\n
lining of calcium silicate or superior material, minimum thickness 100 mm. \t<\/span><\/div>\n
